UAE President to visit Kyrgyzstan
AKIPRESS.COM – President Sadyr Japarov held talks with UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui on the sidelines of the World Government Summit on Dubai, the president’s press service reported.
They discussed further expansion of bilateral cooperation, strengthening of trade and economic ties, implementaiton of joint infrastructure and energy projects.
While talking about implementation of earlier reached agreements, President Sadyr Japarov said he attaches a great importance to construction of a solar power plant by Masdar and underlined that Kyrgyzstan will comply with its obligations timely.
The President reminded he invited UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to pay official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
President Japarov expressed confidence this visit will give impetus to further strengthening of relations between two countries.
Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui thanked President Sadyr Japarov for accepting the invitation to attend the World Government Summit and passed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He said several important cooperation documents are considered now, which are expected to be signed during expected visit of the UAE President to Kyrgyzstan.
He said opening of the UAE Embassy is planned in Bishkek in the nearest time.
Minister Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui added UAE trade mission will visit Kyrgyzstan this year for strengthening trade and economic ties. The mission will include representatives of big Emirati companies.
