Entire Mollywood is in shock after the preview copy of Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Vazhakk’ was released by the director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan.The director had earlier raised allegations against Tovino Thomas, who is also the co-producer of the film. Sanal Kumar alleged that Tovino Thomas was reluctant about the theatrical release, and was ‘worried’ about his stardom if the film releases. However, on Monday, Tovino Thomas and the other co-producer came live on Instagram and rubbished the claims. Tovino Thomas expressed his readiness to support the film and its release.
In Kollywood, the movie buffs woke up to the shocking news of GV Prakash and Saindhavi’s separation after 11 years of marriage. The music director took to social media and stated that they had mutually agreed to part ways. He wrote, “For the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving our mutual respect for each other.”
In other news, actor Rajinikanth has completed shooting his portions for the film ‘Vettaiyan‘. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie marks the 170th film of the actor and it stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh in lead roles. The makers dropped a photo on social media and confirmed that Rajinikanth has wrapped up his part of the film. ‘Vettaiyan’ is slated for release in October 2024.
Back in the Telugu entertainment industry, Allu Arjun has issued a statement clearing the air apropos his controversial visit to Nandayal, a day before the LS polls in Andhra Pradesh. In a statement, Allu Arjun stated that he does not support any political party in particular. “Firstly, I want to clarify that I’m not affiliated with any political party. I remain neutral and support my people, regardless of their political affiliations. This includes my uncle Pawan Kalyan, whom I’ll always stand by, along with my friend Ravi and my father-in-law, Mr. Reddy,” Allu said in a statement.
Also, Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt‘s next ‘Double iSmart’ is nearing its completion and the movie will soon be moving to the post-production phase. The makers have now shared a new update stating that the film’s teaser which is 85-seconds long will be launched on Ram Pothineni’s birthday, May 15. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film has Kavya Thapar as the female lead.
