NFL MVP Odds: How does Jalen Hurts rank going into 2023?
The Philadelphia Eagles fought valiantly against the Kansas City Chiefs but ultimately fell short of the mark in Super Bowl LVII. Jalen Hurts put in the performance of a lifetime and if you were to choose which player had the better game between him and Patrick Mahomes, the majority would back 24-year-old Jalen Hurts. It was Mahomes who won both league and Super Bowl MVP, but what do the odds project for 2023?

NFL MVP Odds: Jalen Hurts to win NFL MVP +1100
Patrick Mahomes takes the top spot here and that was always going to be the case. The big surprise recently has been the rise of Justin Herbert, who was close to +2000 not too long ago. He dealt with injuries in 2022 but will be playing in a new offense under Kellen Moore which may unlock some of that generational potential he’s flashed time and time again.
Jalen Hurts, I feel, should be priced at around +900. There is definitely some value to be had here in the early stages of the offseason and prices can move fast. Hurts went from +1000 to +650 in a seven-day span last year upon his return from a shoulder injury and it would be fair to say that the MVP race would’ve been tighter had he played an entire year.
But while the world still sleeps on Jalen Hurts winning the NFL MVP award, you have the opportunity to cash in and make some money.
